Content Creation Girlies guide

What Brands Should Include in a Paid Influencer Campaign Brief

A useful brief gives a creator enough information to decide whether the work fits and what to charge. Important commercial questions should not appear only after someone agrees to participate.

Set the objective

Start with the objective, product and intended customer. Separate essential factual points from creative suggestions. The creator needs room to make natural content, while the brand needs a clear way to check accuracy.

Define deliverables

Describe each deliverable: platform, format, number of assets, approximate length, posting requirement and deadline. State whether you need captions, stills, different hooks or edited variations. Confirm whether raw footage is included rather than assuming it comes with the finished video.

Agree dates and locations

Include audience or filming location, shipping arrangements and any event attendance. Give the application, draft, feedback and publication dates. Label provisional dates clearly. Name the person responsible for approval so feedback does not arrive from several directions.

State the budget and rights

Explain the budget or request an itemised quote. Agree revisions, payment timing, cancellations, usage and exclusivity. A production request does not explain permission to use the content in paid advertising indefinitely.

Submit your brief

In my campaign conversations, clear briefs help creators and talent managers respond with relevant information. Brands can submit a brief at /brands-agencies for existing Content Girlies sourcing support. Advertising disclosure should be part of the process from the start.
